2004 Subaru forester turns over but won't start. Battery is fine, replaced coil pack still no luck

you need to check for fuel pressure next.
Could be many things, but a fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator would be prime suspects.

No spark 99 forester

Disconnect the fuel line from the filter and check if there is fuel when you prime it. If there is NOT fuel, you have a lead. If there IS fuel coming out, it might not be enough pressure. I had to replace an O-ring on the fuel pump assembly. Hope I helped.

Fuel pump costs labor

There are many suppliers for auto parts online. Anytime I need parts, I compare them with local auto parts suppliers.

My 99 Subaru Forester did not start. It turns over will not catch, it has gas. 2 weeks ago the same thing happened, the mechanic replaced the fuel pump and a 30 amp maxi fuse to the ECM circuit. This...

I also have a -99 Forester S turbo with the same problem. Runs like clockwork between failiures but all of a sudden engine turns but will not start. The workshop recomended fuelfilter replacement but I thaught it could have something to do with the immobilizer. what have you tried and ruled out?
