I have a 1992 Dodge spirit and the windshield wipers just quit working last night. We changed the fuse and that was not the problem. We think the motor might be bad. How do we replace the motor ourselves?

I have a 1992 dodge spirit that the wipers quit working. The fuse was blown and every time I change fuse it blows when I turn on the ignition.

Try unplugging the wiper motor and see if it blows the fuse. If it doesn't, then your motor has an internal short and needs to be replaced.

Last night during a storm my windshield wipers stopped working why did this happen?

the motor could be going bad, or a bad connection, or water got into the connection causing an open.

Or there is a blown fuse if they won't work the next day.

1992 Dodge spirit radio quit working and fuse is good. The clock on the radio still works

If the clock works and it keeps the right time, you'll need to replace the radio. Try a salvage yard. They should have a lot of them.

I have a 1992 dodge shadow.but the windshield wipers isn't working.I checked the motor is well,the terminal voltage is 12V,how can I continu to repair the 1992 dodge shadow's windshield wipers?

You posting is slightly confusing but I gather your windshield wipers stopped working.
The repair method is as follows;
) Check the fuse.
) Check the wiper motor. Turn the wipers on and listen for the hum of the motor.

If you hear the hum then the linkage has probably come loose. You will have to take the covers off
to get to the linkage for the wiper. You can either repair the parts, get salvage yard parts or replace with new part$.

If you do not hear the motor hum then you should verify electricity is getting to the motor. A simple
voltmeter can be used. If the motor is bad you can replace it. Call some auto supply stores for after-market motors or call salvage yards for parts.

BATTERY WENT DEAD, CLICKING WHEN TRIED TO START IT. PUT NEW BATTERY IN NOW R WINDSHIELD WIPER WONT GO OFF AND AC WONT WORK

battery went dead because the rear windshield wiper didn't go off during the night, as soon as you put a new battery, the wiper start to working and won't stop. probably the switch out of order, A/C doesn't work, check the fuse.
