Get a can of spray lubricant (PB Blaster is very good) and spray the door latches (both sides)-then, close the doors 15-20 times, and it will fix it-a KNOWN issue on Mark VIII's (I have a 96, you think you have issues...)

I am installing rear brakes on 1997 lincon mark 8 and cant depress brake cylinders

If it is a disc brake with the park brake connected to the brake caliper the piston in the caliper will need to be rotated back into the caliper bore. there are special; tools for this but sometimes a multi position wrench can be used. If when rotating the piston starts to move out of the caliper stop straight away and reverse rotation before the piston comes out causing loss of fluid and air entering .

How come when i turn heat on. driverside blows hot but passenger side blows cold

talking from experience there can be 2 problems , either the "blend motor" on the driverside of the air register has failed or the door inside the register broke i would say 9 out of 10 the "blend motor" is the problem , on a scale of 1-10 its about an 8 to change the dealer refers to this part as a blend door actuator

Not passing smog check

bank 1 is pass/side exhaustpipe/converter bank 2 is on the driverside, this car has two converters, so you have 4 oxygen sensors, one before and one after the converter on each side, so bank 1 sensor1 is pass/side before the converter, bank 1 sensor 2 is pass/side after the converter, then bank 2 sensor1 is driverside before the converter, before means starting at motor, then bank 2 sensor 2 is driverside after the converter, heres a diagram to help, i hope this is helpful.a9203dd.jpg33c9cf6.jpg
