Hello, need your advice to solve the problem, saab ss 2003 driver electric seat (without memory) doesnt move to any directions. I suspect that problem with relay (didnt find any fuse responsible for that) and I can not find a relay. Owner manual shows that it is in trunk fuse panel , but I dont see any relays except fuses. There are a number of things that can cause this and there is a service bulletin that goes over diagnosing and repairing them, but the most common problem would be that the memory heated seat and mirror module has electronically locked up or failed. This module controls memory and all seat functions and is located on the bottom of the driver's seat pan. Most likely your module will need to be replaced and a ground wire added that goes from the module to the seat frame.
Try disconnecting the battery or disconnect the module to see if it will come back to life. If not then it is possible to move the seat with a couple jumper wires. The easiest thing to do would be to unplug the connectors at the module and jump the motor right there. You would need the light green/light blue and the light green/orange wire. Jump one to positive and one to ground and the seat will move. If it moves in the opposite direction you want it to go just reverse your jumper wires and the seat will move in the opposite direction.

There are 2 options of power seat systems available in full size trucks. The 6 way driver and passenger power seats, and 8 way driver and passenger power seats with driver memory. For the driver memory seat operation refer to Memory Seats Description and Operation . Power seats without memory are completely controlled through the power seat switch. Battery voltage is supplied to the power seat switch through the power seat circuit breaker. While the seat adjuster switches are in an inactive state the switch contacts are closed to the power seat switch ground circuit. When a power seat switch is pressed to an active state the switch contact is closed to the battery voltage supply circuit. Each seat adjuster motor is controlled by the power seat switch through 2 motor control circuits. The seat adjuster motors are bidirectional and the direction of adjuster motor rotation is determined by which of the adjuster motor control circuits is switched to battery voltage while the other remains grounded.

Search Saab forums for your year and model to get advice on the driver's window. Re the heated seats not turning off -- try spraying some WD40 into the switch and turning on/off several times to clean it. If that doesn't work, you'll need to take out the switch and either repair or replace it.
