You can on most all vehicles access it by removing or completely opening the glove box door. It is mounted with a couple small screws to the side of the heater motor, (just above the passengers feet) and will have a wire harness plugged into it. Once removed, you will see the coiled resistors that are burnt.

I installed new resistor and connector and speed 5 won't work on blower on 2005 gmc sierra

High speed on the blower fan does not work thru the resistor.
There is a seperate circuit that sould feed 12 volts directly to the motor. If you have access to a schematic it would help.
The connectors for the high speed, burn out a lot. If you cant find I could look it up.

2004 gmc envoy blower motor does not work on high or number five

sounds like a blower motor resistor. it might just blown the fuse also(for resistor). Pick uo a chilton book at advanced auto or any auto parts store. They r like $12, it will show you where to find resistor and fuse.

For a1998 i need to know where is the relay for a grand am blower motor resistor stop blowing

RELAY SHOULD BE ON TOP OF AIR PLENUM BEHIND GLOVE BOX (MOST GM)
THE RESISTOR IS LOCATED UP STEEM FROM BLOWER MOTOR (BOTTOM PASSENGER SIDE) CHECK FOR POWER AT BLOWER MOTRO CONECTION FIRST AND FUSE ALSO
VERY RARE TO LOOSE ALL SPEED AT ONCE UNLESS FUSE OR BLOWER MOTOR OR

The fan inside the car

the blower motor isnt working as it should. you probably need to replace it. put the switch on high and raise the hood of the car and on the passenger side you will find the blower motor,,,tap it a few times and see if it kicks on .if it does you have a loose connection if it dosent you have a bad blower motor

02 GMC Sierra-heater-a/c motor only works on high speed

Check or have checked the blower motor resistor. These resistors will cause this problem. I would go this route first as these are relatively inexpensive and usually the problem.

1998 GMC Sierra pickup truck cabin fan problem

Your blower moter is under your glovebox and very easy to replace.I dont think thats your ploblem.I would pull off the dash.It will snap right off without breaking anything. Then pull out the part that holds the selector switch for the fan speed. Then you unplug that switch.Clean the copper contacts.Plug it back in.If everything works again like it should and did in my truck then it is either that switch that is bad or the wiring harness.I would replace that switch.
