Re: Hard starting, turns over fine it just cranks alot...
Does it hard start when warm or only when cold? could very possibly be a fuel pressure problem, like fuel pressure regulator. Also could be cold start injector. Thanks, Lee

I would expect to find a problem with the fuel pump or the injector pump loosing their prime. Usually if a sensor is faulty the check engine light is on.
Do you mean it will crank over and not start or do you mean it wont crank.
If its turning then spray some brake cleaner in the throttle body or use some quick start. If it fires your fuel pump failed, If it does not fire you will need to check for codes. You most likely have an ignition issue.
Not knowing what year car you have leaves alot to be guessed at. But even so I would still recommend you do what I mentioned.
Could be a problem with the crank sensor which tells the engine ecu when to fire the spark plugs, common fault. Try holding accellerator pedal to the floor while starting, can flood with fuel, was a modification on some models to reduce fuel flow a while back.
try changing the fuel filter and turn the key on and off several times before starting engine. once running check the vaccum line on the fuel pressure regulator.the regulator can leak fuel from that connection.
