2013 Jeep Patriot When i try to start all the ignition lights come on but the starter wont kick over. I turn key to start position one red light on left side of cluster goes out but all rest stay on.

i don't know. jeep battery may be low. turn on headlights. see if headlights go out when you try to start. if lights out,
battery needs charging. if automatic, it may be 'neutral switch'. without trying to start, quickly move the selector from park to low and back 6 times. then try to start in park. if all seems ok then you may need to check battery's wire connections to the starter or you may need a new starter.

My 1999 cavalier ran hot coolent seemed to disappear now it wont start

quick easy check is to pull the plugs.
the clean one would be where the problem exists.
usually the head gasket gives out first to prevent damage to the head.
on occasion the head becomes damaged.
if all plugs are the same then the problem is in the heater system.
check all hoses and see if you can smell coolant or see any wet spots.
the no start situation could be lack of compression.
or try taking 1 plug out and watch for any spark. this has to be done in the dark or you could miss the spark.
the spark pack is next if no spark then test by swapping with a known good one.

1996 corolla turns over but wont start, was hesitating slightly before it stopped working

If the spark plugs were covered with gas, it was flooded. The fuel system is not fine.

Car wont start, the security light is blinking and the car wont start

Your VATS security system is failing. Quick fix, turn key forward 2 clicks till right before it starts. Leave it for 10 minutes. (no less) turn back key and then start again. should be fine. Getting these fixed is about 800 bucks. They sell a bypass for 200 online. I did the "10 minute trick" for over a year, till finally the Computer went. I ended up doing the 200 dollar bypass. Works great, no worries.

Wont fire up. sounds like it's going to start but just wont turn

Hi,
It could be a couple of things:
  1. The starter motor needs repairing.
  2. The starter relay maybe faulty.
If you can get it to a good Autoelectrician they will definitely find the problem quite quickly. 9 times out of 10 its either the battery is faulty or the starter motor needs repairing. Hope this helps, let me know how you get on.

Car transmission issues and now wont start

check your idle control valve/sensor and torque converter/solenoid these four things are common problems

Car turns over wont start..replaced rotor and cap and ignition coil..still seems not getting spark....should rotor turn without cap on when turning over

if the basics have been done check the timing, i have seen a few of these cars the camshaft breaks, quick way is just do a compression check on each cylinder, check for fuel pressure and enough spark is coming out of the coil.

Turns over and it wont start 2001 honda accord

Start by checking for spark at the spark plugs. These may need to be replaced. Or it could be the coils on top of the spark plugs that need to be replaced.

It turns over wants to start but wont its getting fuel

Sounds like the "voltage regulator" is bad. It is internal in the alternator. I would start by having it checked.
