We have a 1992 chrysler lebaron v6 3litre when we are driving the car sometimes we feel a pause and it goes into first and then a clunk and the same when it goes into 3rd. Would that be signs of a cv joint going bad or signs of something with the transmission.The fluid is red and clean.

Sounds like the shift solenoids. A common problem, but before fixing that, try swapping the fluid with Multi-Vehicle type fluid. That transmission, mine included, seems to work better. If no improvement, then shift solenoids

When driving the car (92 Lebaron) the trans. whines real loud then goes away I was told the pump was bad and it would cost 1000.00 to fix is there any other things it might be.

1995 chrysler lebaron battery is dead the hood will not open used hood release nothing is the another way to open the hood

Try pushing down on the hood and keep pulling on the hood release, sometimes they get a little sticky.

Pulsating at 45 to 55 mph

REBALANCE THE FRONT TIRES, IF TIRES DO NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM. CHRYSLER LEBARON ARE NOTORIOUS FOR THIS NEXT OUTCOME. RIGHT LOWER TRANSMISSION MOUNT.

4 cyl under the ac compressor 6 cyl in the middle it driving by the timming belt you can not see it unless you remove the timing belt cover the 6 cyl 3.0 liter is and expensive job 4 to 6 hour labour plus part good luck pierre
