Checl front sispension, could be tierod ends, ball joints, ideler arm, pittman arm or stearing box, eaisyest thig to do is have someone turn the weel 1/2 right and follow it byu 1/2 left and lay uner it and look for the play

At least 4. 1 on each end of the 2 drive shafts. There may be a middle one especially if ext. Cab/crew cab/ long bed.

the gvwr is the calculated weight the the truck can carry in the cab and the bed combined, it is not the towing capacity, the towing capacity can be found in your owners manual. I hope this helps you, good luck !

NOISE IS COMING FROM INTERMEDIATE STEERING SHAFT. there is an updated shaft but you can usually just pull it loose and slide it in and out and work some grease back up in there.you will see the bolt at base of steering column

Excessive play after steering gear box and intermdt shaft replace

It is very important to take this back and have it looked at by the shop that did the repair. The steering box would come pre-adjusted. I'm afraid they may have left something loose...it happens. Try phoning them, they may even want to tow it or send someone out to check it. Driving with the steering box coming unbolted from the frame would be tricky.

Pretty much...had a 2006 Chev 2500HD Crew Cab 4X4 w/6.0; got 12mpg regularly...which is why it's someone else's truck now. Have a 03 1500 GMC 5.3 Ext Cab now; get 18-21 mpg. Sweet!

No there is not a inline fues. Have you hooked up the wiring to stud 1? It doesn't come from the factory hooked up.

If you feel this rattle while driving at low speed or turning at low speed it is likely a worn out steering shaft coupler, it is very common.
