2005 chrysler town and country When I start driving the brake light comes on then goes off. Does the same thing when I stop the van for any reason when I start up the light comes on. When I first strart the vehicle the insturment panel lights flicker on and off. Not the normal lighting that occurs when you start the van. This one while idleing all the gages go off light the car is turned off but its running then they just come back to normal.

there could be a blown fuze in the fuze box that operates the auto locks

I work for a brake repair shop and trust me you are not alone.Enterprise and alot of other people bought the same van and had the same trouble.I hate to say but it doesnt stop there.About every 14 to 15 thousand miles you have to replace the front pads.As of now they dont have an upgrade,for instance ceramic pads, but I am sure they will very soon

The crank shaft sensor on that model should be on the driver side towards the back of the tranny its not hard to get to.

I have a 2005 Chrysler T&C. The turn signal would not work at all or activate incorrect side. The switch is easy to remove as described by dukecityman.

Once the switch is of, it has four screws holding it together.I took this apart to find that there was a circuit-board which was contaminated with dirt. wiped it of, put it back together, working fine.

If you take it apart use caution. there are parts on the "top" which will fall out. ( they go right back in) The circuit-board is on the "bottom" half. You really only need to take this part off. (less moving parts)

Your going to replace it anyway, whats the harm?
