There are many online wiring diagram solutions, but the cheapest way to find your diagram is to purchase a haynes or chilton manual from the local auto parts store. Both have excellent wiring, fuel lines, brakelines, etc diagrams. I prefer the Haynes manual myself.

Nissan sentra - fuel delivery + cornering

no country told at all, and 1998 cars are NO THE SAME world wide.
in take fuel pump replace? we can;'t see his work here.
seen it done wrong many a time.
;can I Assume THIS IS EFI, FUEL INJECTED WITH 4 INJECTORS
AND AN ECU CONTROLLING IT? most are.

THE MAKER NISSAN HAS A SERVICE MANUAL BUY IT:?
ALL OEM MAKERS DO. EVERY ONE.
EVEN SOLD USED ON EBAY./

nissan.com has parts, for sale and drawings of each

leaks means it is broken. for sure. and is obvious.
the fuel pump must be a nissan pump or a non oem pump but certified to fit, not some cloned noname junk.
or buy a great Bosch pump for this exact car.

the pump is suckking air as you turn. (inertial gravity cased)

that mean (tank over 1/4 full) the pump is bad or missing parts
also any pump that is allowed to suckkk(sic) air, will burn up
the pump is fuel lubricated and fuel cooled. to last.

bottom of pump has fuel filter sock, not missing or broken
the middle of pump rack has hose the must not be cracked or sucking air, lose. and more, all this is EFI basics and inspected.

SENTRA IS MADE 1982 TO PRESENT, 40 YEARS NOW.
VAST EXIST AND PARTS SOLD EVEN MORE VAST.
Engine line up:
Generation 4. NICE chain cam.
GA16DE: 1.6 (1,597 cc) DOHC., is EFI (my guess yes)
GA16DS- is carburetor fueled.. last one 1997 july? and 98 version next day july. so what engine is there is LOOK with eyes first. and some versions with VVT, and VVT failing wrecks fuel econ.
GA16DNE used on mexico only,. see how country matters.?
no vvt, and sold to in
southeast Asian models (Philippine and Malaysian Sentra

the N means no emission parts. egr etc.
the bad fuel mileage is caused by many things, even the ECU stuck in limphome mode or 02 sensor bad, or FPR bad, most are this old.
the :"E' means EFI fueled, lots of variants seen in the wiki.

now I pretend to know what country and pick USA (ESP HAT)
and here is the USA parts, sold at nissan here.
the fuel tank

https://parts.nissanusa.com/a/Nissan_1998_Sentra-SEDAN-EBASE-16L-MT/_51497_10625882/FUEL-TANK/B14U_US_172.html

17042 is pump.
as you an see there are lots of part to fail there.
or leak,or be rotted this old.
even tank baffles rusted away.
the sock is 17013N (missing or bad?
find a real mechanic, to fix it. not a poser.

In line fuel filter for 2003 Nissan Sentra, where is it located?

The Sentra has a screen type filter which a part of the in-tank fuel pump. It is not considered to be a replaceable part unless the fuel pump is replaced.

Wont start due to fuel supply to carburetor , change fuel pump but no petrol supply yet

check fuses and relays --is pump running --new doesnt mean free from defects or improper installation --fuel filter changed --fuses and relays checked --and check connections and wiring

My 86 nissan sentra is starving for fuel and lugging out, on take off and when backing off the throttle at highway speeds, i am wanting to know where the fuel pump is and all the relays and fuses so i can...

I don't know what relays and fuses you want to check, but your 1988 Nissan Sentra is equipped with a mechanical fuel pump which is located on the rear of the engine under the intake manifold.
Your vehicle is also carbureted, not fuel-injected, so If I had your vehicle and it was lugging out on take-off, I would be looking at the accelerator pump in the carburetor, not the fuel pump.
It is SUPPOSED to be starved for fuel when backing off of the throttle.
Have you checked the fuel filter to see if it is clogged?

1987 jeep wrangle will not start or run

Uncouple the fuel line coming from the pump at the carburetor, place a clean can under the line, and have someone operate the starter--you should have fuel shoot from the line in spurts as the engine turns. If it does, then the entry port on the carburetor is plugged. Remove the float assembly and pull out the float needle valve. Hook the fuel line back to the carburetor and try the starter again, there should be fuel pumping into the float bowl. If not, check to see if there is a filter on the fuel inlet path that may be plugged. If no filter, remove the float needle seat to see if something is blocking the fuel passage. If all else fails, use compressed air to blow backwards through the needle seat (remove the fuel line again). Hope some of this helps!

Nissan sentra fuel problem. Put new filter and fuel pump but no gas getting to filter to get to pump. Gas line problem from tank?

I believe this is a manual fuel pump and you may have lost the prime, no fuel in hose to tank. If the hose from rear frame to tank has a break or hole, it will **** air and not fuel from tank. If this is not the case, possible clogged fuel hose, tubing, or pickup tube in tank assuming you have turned the engine over serveral times and there is enough fuel in tank. Some tanks do not pickup from very bottom because of water laying in bottom of tank from condensation.

1994 Nissan Sentra LEC problem

There is no carburetor on your car, it is fuel injected. Your coil is what fires the ignition. You can buy a Haynes manual, which has a troubleshooting section in it, but it sounds to me like you aren't really too sure around cars, so i'm going to suggest you find a reputable mechanic to take the car to. It may be a simple problem, but if you aren't comfortable working on cars, the mechanic is the best route. i'm sorry not to be of more help, but problems like this one can be caused by a variety of things only diagnosable while with the car to test as you go.

Regards,
matt
