First check the parking brake lever to be released , next push the brakes and put into neutral . Start engine and rock car back and forth . While some body inside car as a second driver .
Sounds like a cable to the transmission is not adjusted up right, and/or the neutral safety switch is not adjusted right, if this applies to your Toyota Corolla.
I think you need to try this in park not neutral-keep your foot on the brake, and put the shifter in park, then try turning the wheel slightly, and turn the ignition key.
The battery is dead. Recharging (or replacing) the battery will remedy those symptoms you describe. Recharging the battery is a lot cheaper if you have access to a charger or can remove the battery and can take it to a service station for recharging.
sounds like park safety switch, there are 2 switches 1 neutral and 1 park, if it starts in neutral,it is working,if in park, and does not start usually means bad switch or wire off.
thank you for answering the problem i posted. god bless!
