95 toyota camry coolant problem

My camry started over heating yesterday i changed the themostat because i was getting no heat when i turn the heat on it was just cool air blowing out . with changing the themostat theres no difference . it seems to me the relays are working but i dont know how to check them. i dont see the fans turning on at all unless i turn the ac button on. please help me

    my 95 camry over heats now and then. I have replaced t-stat, fluids and,flushed Im thinking water pump next? not sure.it also (the fluids) foams up thats why I flushed it

First of all check your coolant level, If OK Lets Remove the Passenger Glove Box, Look to your left you will see a Blower Duct Remove it, Look at the blend air door lever this controls the amount of Air traveling through the heater core and the AC Evaperator. Start your car and adjust temp, see if the lever is moving...If No then remove the blend air door motor but take note on the postion of the arm..although i like to go to hot totally or Cold totally then when i reinstall the motor i position the arm to match ...Fully Up is totally hot fully down is ice cold....!!! Open the blend air door housing and clean the contacts that travel on the large gear and collective grease that has maybe in excess...then put together put the plug into her and try lets see if the arm travels now......i have a link to see what we have just discussed ....

Adam, if you want your fans to turn on, add a switch in your dash panel. there is a firewall break behind the driver side front wheel, so all wiring can be run through there. to solve the over heating, check fluid levels, replace the water pump, and just for kicks, replace the fluid and hoses. make sure there is 50/50 mixture in the coolant system that really does make a diffrence. good luck!

Air pocket in the cooling system i'm assuming?
Remove radiator cap when the engine has cooled down (verify by collapsing the upper radiator hose to make sure there is no pressure remaining) start the vehicle, turn your climate control to high fan, hottest temp. Add coolant to the radiator as needed. You should have good heat coming out of defrost when the cooling system is successfully bled out.

still getting overheat...
check the water pump, must see water flowing if not pump's deffective.
if it still gets overheat,cylinder head gasket is the problem.

I CHANGED THE THEMOSTAT..... CAR IS STILL OVERHEATING....WHAT DO I CHECK NEXT
First, do you have enough collant? underneith the water pump there is a weep hole, feel to see if there is and anti-freeze dripping from this, if so the water pump is failing. Are you getting any heat? the heater core or the bypass valve could be no good. Also check the oil, look to see if it looks kinda like chocolate milk if it is , the anti-freeze is mixing with the oil and the headgasket is no good

I just purchased a 92 honda prelude. the car temp for the most part was fine until u step on it a little bit then she starts to over heat. i guy told me to replace the cooling fan sensor and i did. didnt...
Is the thermostat installed correctly? There is a bleed hole on the thermostat with a rivet in it. That should be up. Is the coolant level topped off? There should be a bleed screw on the manifold if I remember correctly. Honda's are very sensitive to coolant level. Check the cooling fans to see if they are running. The left one should be for cooling and the right fan for when a/c is turned on. You can jumper the plug for the coolant temp sensor ( where the lower radiator hose attaches to the block) and the fan should run when the car is running. If all else fails, you should have your cooling system pressure tested as this could be a blown head gasket.

First of all, check coolant level, and when adding (if necessary to add) turn heater on while topping it up. Then start investigating why coolant was low.

Change the radiator cap, it may be the wrong pressure rating which will cause the coolant to boil at a much lower temperature than designed.

My heater does not blow hot air, also the car temp runs cold unless idling at standstill, however the car seems to run fine. what could i do to solve the problem
First thing to do would be check the thermostat. Sounds like it may be stuck open and needs replaced. If it sticks in the open position the engine never warms up properly an d will give you little or no heat.

You may have a clogged radiator or you didnt get all the air out when you filled up the coolant
Its also possible the water pump fan blades are corroded away.
If anyone ever used a stop leak this could cause a blockage anywhere

I took my toyota camry 1992 v6 to change coolant and now it is over heating. I took it to the mechanic and he said it is not the water pump. After I change the coolant, the heat did not want to come out....
It sounds to me that your car is likely air locked. Your Camry may have an air bleed on it, some of the newer cars do. Either way what you can try is to loosen the radiator cap to the safety position (where you have to push down to remove it) and run the car normally for a day or two making sure you keep the radiator and the overflow bucket topped up. I know it's getting warm but keep the heater turned on so that water will flow through the whole system and flush out the air. After a couple of days top the rad up again and close the cap tight. You should be good . It is possible that your thermostat may need changing too, but I'd try this first.
