If it is blowing fuses, it has not been 'fixed'-the fuel pump is drawing more current than the circuit was designed to handle, pointing to two possiblilties, either a fault in the wiring harness to the pump, or the pump itself is drawing too much current duo to wear possibly overheating due to running the tank low-gas 'cools' the fuel pump so running a tank low is often fatal to a fuel pump, especially an older one. You might try switching the fuel pump relay with one that is not used as much (like an ABS or horn relay) to see if it makes any difference, but you probably will need to plan a fuel pump replacement in the near future.

1993 Nissan Pathfinder. Where is the tail light relay located please?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to model category.

tail lights don't need relays as the amperage is very low. Only headlights and fog lights use relays.

1996 Nissan pathfinder stopped running while I was driving it changed both fuel pump and fuel filter but still will not start

Put some fuel directly into the intake to make sure it is a fuel problem. If it fires a bit then check for a burned fuse or bad connection.

Can't get the fuel pump to work. put a new pump and relay and it still want work any suggestion. it's on a 1988 nissan pathfinder

I would recommend that you check the fuse panel. Take the fuse out and replace it w/ a new one.

No power to fuel pump fuel gauge works

First check your fuse for the fuel pump. if power is on both sides of the fuse when key is on (check with a circuit tester) move onto your fp and pull it and check for power while key is on this ensures power from fuse block is making it to this point. If you have power swap out your fuel pump relay. If you still don't have power at pump then there is a problem in the wiring between relay and pump which you'll need to trace and repair

Underhood fuse block swap out relay #7 thats the ECM relay.
Ground Circuits Using a DVOM, touch negative voltmeter lead to a good ground. Touch positive voltmeter lead to each ground terminal. With vehicle running, voltmeter should indicate less than one volt. If reading is greater than one volt, check for open, corrosion and loose connection on ground lead. See ECM GROUND LOCATION table for ECM ground location.
