What do advtrac mean - 2000 Ford Expedition

This is a Dealership Service Notice to Look at Front and Rear Differential......It is Electrically Locked for Traction Control.....Diff Fluid should be changed every 80,000 miles......Do not Delay this Service.....Result will be very expensive..........

either one of the wheel sensors is out of adjustment or the brakes are worn to replacement thickness.. check and replace if necessary..

The first thing to do is to have the ABS and engine computers scanned for trouble codes.
The problem with the check engine light could also turn on the ABS and traction control lights. Or it could be different issues.
The gas gauge being out of calibration could be the float in the gas tank or the gauge on the dash. I doubt that problem is related to the warning lights.

It means you have a fault in your vehicles antilock brake system. Having the light on will disable the abs system. Antilock/traction control keeps your wheels from locking up and provides you with a more controlled stop, such as in rain or snow. Take it in to a repair facility and have them scan the abs system for fault codes codes

you have it as mine does too. you have a button if you dont want it on but it is meant to help your truck. otherwise, you have a problem with yours and needs repair.

Disconnect the battery and try to reset the system to default. It may be a PCM issue.

The abs sensors also control the traction control and 4 wheel drive actuators so if one of the sensors is faulty the traction control will be disabled and the drive system will be stuck in the mode set at time of failure be that 4x4 or 2wd
get the abs system repaired

You will have to retrieve and clear codes from VDM module with a scan tool. You may also have to calibrate it as well.
