Note the picture for how cylinders are numbered. The firing order for v6 should be, 1 2 3 4 5 6.

Go to your local auto supply store and buy a Haynes book for your Toyota Avalon. Everything is in it that you need!

You will need to read the scanning data in real time to determine the fault. Usually a failure of the cat will trigger this code.
