Noise under intake manifold

My 1994 V6 Mustang is making a rattling or clicking noise under the intake manifold.  It sounds like a loose part is hitting the camshaft or lifters. It happens between idle and 1500 RPM.

Best thing to do is to take the intake and valve covers off, its possible you may have inadvertently sucked something up and it's in you intake. That is the best solution.

No telling what it is until you take things apart and take a look. It shouldn't be too hard, make sure you get new gaskets, gaskets are cheap anyways.

'94 Gmc Sonoma 4.3L Starts loosing Power and making weird Rattle Noise when reaching operating temperature. Also water tank looks like there is a bit oil in it. Could it be the cylinder head gasket?

Oil in the coolant is usually an intake manifold gasket problem on these engines. If a head gasket failure the engine will normally overheat and give erratic temp guage readings. Make sure the oil level is full. Is the rattle noise coming from the engine? Some times the exhaust (converter) will fail and the catylist will seperate causing a rattle noise from the exhaust and plug it up giving a no power situation

1994 mustang humming noise coming from intake

Check the vacuum hoses for leaks. Follow them around and make sure they're all connected and not worn out to where they had fallen off due to the hoses being old and worn out. Take some soapy water in a spray bottle and spray mist the intake and see if the idle changes. Check the big hose coming from the brake booster to the intake and make sure it's connected and in good shape. Basically check everything for vacuum leaks. It sounds like that's what you're issue is.

1993 Lincoln Continental v6 3.8L- whistling noise under the hood

if it's not running bad, it may be a simple crack in a pcv line, or a loose hose(vaccum). should be simple to fix.
