The rear window hatch switch is electronic. The fuse is good but the hatch switch won't work. It doesn't even make noise. Is there another way to open the back?

Yes if you pull the carpet back in the middle at the top, there is a small hole. Insert a screwdriver and pull to the left. It will open. I have the same problem on mine!

A few years ago, the rear hatch on my 2002 wouldn't open either, but turned out the electrics were fine, the plastic actuator switch had broken. Dorman sells a set of 2 (part number 42426).

Back hatch won~t open with remote or inside door locks will open manually nothing stuck or jammed?

Found this wiring diagram for lift gate, if that is what we're talking about? Not only check the fuses, check fuse circuit for voltage. Use a testlite.

Back window is stuck

First be sure the auto-lock is not on and that the entire liftgate can be opened.

Look for the small rubber button above and on the right side of the license plate. Try pushing that button to see if the rear window hatch pops.

If these efforts don't work, check the fuse associated with the "luggage compartment lid release switch"... it's a 20 amp fuse possibly located in slot 22.

A last resort would be removing the interior panel of the liftgate and locating the latch release for the hatch. You can find a schematic of the rear liftgate in an Internet search. Good luck!

All 4 windows won't work and rear door latch won't open! So, I have two problems: Firstly my rear hatch won't open as of yesterday (Keyless entry pushed & it doesn't even make a noise...

Look at your maintenance manual. To find where your fuse box is located(may be under the hood or under the steering wheel). When you find the fuse box look on the back of the panel flap and you'll find a fuse map. Locate the fuse that corresponds with your problem. It could be the same fuse but not likely. If fuse is blown then replace it with a spare. Most manufacturers will put spare fuses in the box or you could pull a fuse from some where else just to try and see if the problem is still there( make sure it's the same size and understand that it could blow this fuse as well then you will need 2 fuses). Most of the time fuses don't just blow. For some reason it pulled to much load. Probably a dead short in the wiring. I hope this helps.

Rear window wiper not working in 97 hyundai coupe

Remove the rear hatch door inner skin and check for power there.
If you have power, then the rear wiper motor has failed.
If no power, then check the rear wiper switch for power and operation.

I have a 2003 dodge neon..and the rear defroster doesn't work..it has a button for it..and it just shuts off and back windshield doesn't clear at all...even if I keep turning it back on it...

Yeah, I'd think it would have lines, too, unless some new way of doing it that I'm not aware of. Maybe the rear window was replaced with a window without the defrost option. There should be a small two wire connector coming out of the back shelf near lower driver's side of rear window. That would be the defrost connector to the window lines (that aren't there, lol).
Well, good luck with that! I think there are aftermarket kits for rear window defrost, though.
