My engine turns but will not start. I have replaced the spark plug wires, the spark plugs, Cleaned all the senors like the manuel said. I still can't start the car. If it decides to start, when I put it in gear such as reverse or drive it won't go. It stalls out then the engine won't start for alond time again. I need some advice.
What year is the focus, And have you checked the ford recalls on the car? I know that when I owned my focus there was a recall with the fuel pump in the tank and i had somewhat of the same problem myself. If your only getting gas to only ONE spark plug, your issue probably lies somewhere in your fuel delivery system (i.e. Fuel pump, fuel filter etc. etc.). Which would also describe the " It stalls out then the engine won't start for along time again.". Let me know, I'll keep trying to troubleshoot with you. Good luck!
Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities.
It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then
it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or
no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition
coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.
To confirm the problem, the basic troubleshooting is required.
