It's a brand new car. Hyundai has a 5 yr/unlimited miles roadside assistance. Call them and have it towed to your dealer (FOR FREE). Hyundai will fix it FOR FREE

Your car isn't supposed to be doing what it's doing - you obviously have a battery or electrical problem that needs to be addressed. No need to try to fix it yourself - that's what the warranty is for.

This is the roadside assistance number from the HYUNDAI website:

1-800-243-7766

Good Luck!

Why does my clock and radio have to be reset when i turn the ignition off and then back on? my radio goes to safe mode and the clock reads 12.00

Hi. Please recheck the fuses. There should be ( I think a 5 amp) fuse that supplies the dash cluster and radio power to keep the clock and preset channels active when the ignition is off.

Mechanic was not sure how to reset maintenance overdue message once he serviced car. He tried pressing and unpressing trip odometer a few times without success while car was not running.

Got this of a forum. It's for the key less cars. Credit goes to the original poster.

2008-2009 Volvos with starter push button on dashboard

The trip odometer must have at least 0.1 mile on it or the light will not reset.
Get in vehicle and do not push down on the brake pedal
Put the key in the slot and push the starter button once
Press and hold down the odometer reset button
While doing this, push the starter button again and hold for 2 seconds
Keep the odometer reset button held in and watch the instrument cluster for the general warning indicator (I) to illuminate. When this happens, release the button.
Turn the vehicle off then back on and verify the message is now out.

Hello, I just purchased a 2011 Hyundai Elantra. The clock and radio presets wont save. The clock resets at 1 oclock upon starting the car each time

there is supposed to be a power constant connected to the stereo, which would allow power to continue while the car is not on. you could have a blown fuse, or the radio may not have been installed properly. the power constant lead is usually a yellow or blue wire (one or the other, i cant remember which, off the top of my head) coming out of the rear of the radio/harness, and should be connected a fuse which always gets power (usually labeled as "acc constant"), or should be connected directly to the battery.

Hyundai remote

no.
the keyfob will not have to be reprogrammed.
only things to note when replacing the battery is that you will have to reset the clock and the radio presets. also, the Auto Down power window feature may have to be initialized.
