I assume you meant a Chevy Aveo.
-Remove the rear seat.
-Remove fuel pump access cover.
-Disconnect electrical connector and fuel outlet line
-Remove lock ring
-Pull out fuel pump assembly from the tank.

Reverse this to install but make sure you clean out the groove where the gasket sits. A lot of the time dirt/debris will get in the groove when you remove the pump and can cause some leakage later on.

I have 2006 chevy equinox code po455 I change the fuel cap and the purge evap valve but my code comes back what else could it be?

As you know one of the problems can be the Fuel Cap. I make this suggestion. If you changed your Fuel Cap before the Purge Valve double check that the cap used was an OEM (Original) Chevy Part for that specific vehicle, not just any cap from another Chevy.

I need to change the fuel filter in my 2006 chevy uplander i wanted to know if the fuel filter is in the tank or on the out side

Unfortunately it's inside the tank. It's about a 3 hour job to replace so if you go that rout you might as well replace the fuel pump at the same time Sorry for the bad news...;)

Where is the fuel filter at in the 2006 Chevy Silverado?

The fuel filter on a 2006 Silverado is part of the fuel pump module - which also contains the fuel level sender and pump. They are lifetime filters and only need to be replaced in the wake a catastrophic event.

I have a 2006 Pontiac Montana and when I put gas in, It stalls. Then I give it a little gas and it runs. My husband thinks it the starter??????Tune up? Fuel Pump?? Thank you Mrs. C.

Hi Mrs. C
the starter is NOT the problem the starter only cranks the engine has nothing to do once its running
it could need a TUNE UP depending on the mileage
If this was my vehicle i would replace the fuel filter and check the fuel pressure before you spend money on replacing the fuel pump
and FLUSH the FUEL INJECTORS
hope this helps

Replace Fuel Filter on 2006 Chevy Aveo Hatchback

If the fuel filter is mounted inside the fuel tank at the pump it does not need replacing and is a permanent filter. All you have to do it follow the fuel lines from the fuel tank to the engine. If the filter is mounted in the fuel line you will find it.
