1995 does not block starter nor does it in 2010 up.
if it had an IMMO lamp it would glow. but has no such lamp.
The immo blocks spark and fuel if it had it, so forget IMMO
VTSS./VTS<SKIM etc.
i
the starter must have a good PRNDL switch
aka: TRS, transmission range switch. if its an automatic trans.
no, only the start needs to be repaired now, the start system

Make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good. I don't think your security system is the problem? At the starter motor two voltage circuits, one is fuse protected and is hot all the time. The other circuit goes hot with key in the start position and relay is energized. Any testing at relay or starter motor, make sure tranny is in park or neutral and parking brake is set.

I had a skim module go out in mine in the ignition, and I have a 2001. It's a 100 part, and now it starts fine.

12 is a battery disconnect within the last 50 start cycles and 55 means the end of the diagnostic cycle. Basically the computer found nothing wrong. The 12 code may seem incorrect if you haven't disconnected the battery recently, but from my experience the 12 code shows up almost all the time regardless.

Do you have an alarm on this? If you do, that is most likely the problem. There seems to be a problem with the alarms. You may want to have a new key made just in case. Sometimes the keys are magnetically charged and after time, it wears off.

hi, this could be you have not reset the ALARM, when you toke the battery off. please undo the NAGATIVE lead OFF the BATTERY and hold the battery lead ON (for 2 seconds) then take battery lead OFF. you will hear the ALARM make a funny noise (this resets the alarm), put the battery lead ON again and the alarm should SOUND then tighten the NEGATIVE LEAD TO THE BATTERY. if not you need to get the ALARM TO SOUND, need to undo battery NEGATIVE and do the same as above. there is a knack to it. then this will work. THE SYSTEM IS LIKE THIS FOR SECURITY RESONS. gerry

You have to take it to a dealership. They have a computer that programs stuff like that. It usally costs $20 and only takes them 5 minutes.
