You should use Genuine Honda Manual Transmission Fluid. It should be available at most auto stores.

Need to know what type of transmision fluid goes on a 2003 honda fit 5 speed manual trans

Honda recommends "Honda Genuine Manual Transmission Fluid". I've been using Amsoil Manual Synchromesh Transmission Fluid for the past 48,000 miles and have had no issues.

Is it the same transmission gmc 1500 2003 and gmc 2007 older model is it fits

It is quite imperative for you to know that depending on the Specs of these two models, they can have the same transmission or different transmissions. For example, the american specs never come with the same transmissions but those that are manufactured for other regions could come with the same transmission.
If you really need to know this, you have to contact a specialized GMC mechanic and let him know the details of what you are looking for, he should have quite a wider knowledge of this.

I have a 2002 Passat wagon, with a1.8 l engine and a 5 speed automatic transmision. By mistake I drained the transmision. |How do do I refill the transmision so that I can take it to a shop to top it up...

Find the transmission filler tube under the hood. Get a funnel, and fill. Do not overfill, and use proper tranny fluid for your cars' specifications. Your user manual should have a capacities index, and the type of trans. fluid to use listed somewhere in the manual. Hope this helps.

Where is the transmission dipstick for the 2001 chevy cavalier 2.2 liter?

There is no dipstick for the newer model Automatic transmission Cavaliers. There is only a red fill cap on the driver’s side on top of the transmission. The only way to check it is to jack up the car, making sure it level with a jackstand on each side of the car, and remove a small plug from the side of the transmission, underneath the car. It will be small and in an American size. It is either a 3/8" or a 7/16" size plug. Once it is removed, fluid will drain out if it is overfilled. Once there is no more fluid coming out, it is at it's proper level. If there is none coming out, then add more until it comes out and levels off. It has a capacity of about 11 quarts for the 4 speed models. The 3 speed models have about 7 quarts.

The dipstick for the 5 speed manual transmission is located on the back side of the engine. It will have either a white or yellow handle. It holds about 2 quarts of syncro-mesh transmission fluid. It is important that this fluid is used for the manual or problems will occur.

Transmission slipping

the transmission doesn't have a dipstick, on the rh side(transmission side) the fill and drain plugs are located where the axle is inserted into the transmission usually the fill plug is opened with a 17mm wrench and the drain plug is opened with a 3/8 ratchet(fits perfectly into the square hole. and you fill it up until it runs out of the fill hole. you could consult your manual for the proper type. honda used to use motor oil 5w30, 10w30, but they have since replaced the use of those fluids with ther own manual trans fluid which is somewhere in the neighborhood of $5 us a quart(at least in my neighborhood) it holds like 2+1/2 qts us. the problem that you have sounds like a worn out clutch, which typically slips in the higher gears, also if your model has an egr valve that could cause the car to surge between 1400-2500 rpm which could feel like "slippage" usually the egr valves don't go bad but the control solonoids do.
i hope that this helps
