----- Error code radio Honda Civic 2007 -----
power on radio, when you see Error code 1 or 2 or 3 ..., power off the radio, press the keys 6 and 1 at the same time, and power on, you'll see the radio serial number, write down this S/N and call your dealer, give him this S/N, he will give you the code (5 numbers), that's it that's all

When you bought the car you should have been given a radio code for this situation. If you don't have it go to any Honda dealer and they can get it for you. You will need your registration, picture ID and proof of ownership. Once you get the code it is very easy to program into radio.

My radio system was somehow reset. To turn it on requires enter code but I am the second owner and did not set up a code

You need to take your registration papers with your licence (licence is to prove YOU own the car) to a car dealer ie: Holden, Ford, Toyota, Chrysler and ask at the sales office for the SECURITY CODES FOR YOUR CAR, You'll receive your BCM security number, Car key number-Ignition, Radio security pin number and Radio serial number. These numbers belong to YOUR car and once you have them DON'T loose them because in Australia some dealers charge a fee and some don't.... Hope this helped....CHEERS..

I disconnected the battery and when I went to turn on the radio a code came up. I did not know what this ment so I was just started pushing buttons. 3error came up. I then had my son disconnect the battery...

Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for 3 minutes, and try again. The error message shouldnt be on when you insert the radio code, it wont work. I sure hope that the battery inside the radio didnt die, because it wont be able to retain the code, or the station presets. You will be amazed at how much better the aftermarket radios are. If unable to bring it back to life, do not hesitate replacing it with a well known brand. Most come with inputs to play pendrives and Ipods.

I have a 2005 honda accord that my daughter drives. the battery died. she tried to guess at the code, it now has an error of e2. how do i reset the error code so i can enter the radio code?

Most of the time the code is written in the manual. If not try calling a Honda dealership and they should be able to get it for you.

I left the car light on overnight and the battery ran down. The battery is fixed but the radio won't turn on. It says error or code. Is there a way for me to fix this?

Hello, your need to code the radio some times if you have the makers Handbook you might find it in there written down if not you will have to contact your nearest Honda Dealer and give them all the information you have about the car, some times just giving them the chassis number will do it.
Hope this information helps you out.

try taking the radio out and looking on the top for the parts number. call Honda and tell them what is going on and they will give you a 4 digit code that will reset the radio. i had the same problem with my 05 civic, did that and it worked for me.
