I have not looked at a current 5-series, but the traditional place for a BMW battery is beneath the plastic tray on the right-hand side of the trunk. If you don't find it there, perhaps they have moved it to beneath the rear seat where the 5-series used to have it back in the 1980s.
I understand that the new 5-series uses the same approach that Mercedes has used for some time. That is, they use electronic memory rather than mechanical stops to tell the windows, sunroof, seats, mirrors, etc. where the end-points are. That means it is a chore to reset the stops on everything if the battery gets disconnected. Best to avoid that problem by attaching another battery to the jumper cable points under the hood to keep the car powered up while you have your battery out.
If you are working on the air bags, then you have to power down the system, so far as I know, so you will need the owner's manual to give you instructions on how to re-set everything that has a memory.

The battery is in the right side of the trunk there are two plastic standard looking screws that you turn a quarter of a turn to remove trim and access battery but keep in mind this car has a power module and a new battery will have to be registered to the vehicle after replacement by a dealership for your battery state of charge and longevity

SOURCE: where is the fuse box located on a 2008 bmw 528i?

Like most domestic cars the Fuse box is usualy located in a couple of places, most of your newer cars both domestic and foriegn have more than one fuse box, one is under the hood of the car, and most likely has a black plastic cover on it, and the second one can be in a couple of places, under the dash by the steering wheel, on the side of the dash by the drivers door, or on the side of the center console on the drivers side behind a panel, and on rare occaison it may be in the glovebox......hope this helped.....

SOURCE: where is the battery location

It's not where you might think it is. The battery is actually in the trunk, mounted in a deep well covered by a lift-up panel. The 135i has run-flat tires, so there's no spare, jack or inflation kit. chances are if your gonna dissconect battery the anti theft system is gonna lock your radio where you need a code to unlock it and it will make your car need codes from dealer

Can 2008 BMW 528i ignition coils be used for 2003 BMW 525i

According to my cross reference, the coil for 2008 528i is the same as 2003 525i.

You should use the same brand of coil so the internal resistance is the same.
