I had the car compleletly serviced((2years ago) I have not put 100 miles on the odomitor, Oil is steal clean. I dont drive the 98 740IL it sits in the drive way connected to the battery charger. starts fine . But? Im starting to hear a sound in the Engine area(Tick, Tick, Tick,etc.) when I start her up to circulate the Oil. Can you help me. Thanks...

checks if rear brakes are grabbing check all wheels to see if one is hot.Was old filter bad?You could have alot of trash in the gas tank.Is air filter clean?Sparkplugs good,and wires.

the standard has always been 3000 miles,,,dont mess with these that claim more,,,carbon build up is the leading cause of faliure,,and the oil is the blood of your engine,,keep it changed,,put some injector cleaner in couple times a yr.,,water remover couple times in winter and you will get long service from your vehicle.

i think you transmission is slipping you should get it checked out or u can do a tranmission kit change the filter and oil

100 miles should not hurt anything. I do this before all oil changes put 1/2 can in the oil and the other 1/2 in the gas tank

Wow..thats not good..first have motor mounts checked, maybe the tranny mount or possibly if ur car has it is the driveshaft bearings...good luck on the oil leak...maybe tranny fluid..make sure if ur losing fluid that ur checking them incl. the tranny fluid...u might find ur leak first of all by rechecking the oil cap where it is supposed to be ...same with all fluid caps.

v-8 with high miles will do that due the worn piston rings. I would use a bottle of smoke-away and maybe use lucas oil stablazier or go all out and use 10-40
