If neither turn signal works then you may need a new turn signal flasher, it is located under the dash near the steering column(in most cars), have a parts store pull one and show you so you can see what you are looking for.
The Pontiac Transsport (modell 89->) indeed does have two turn-signal flashers. One is located in the direct vicinity of the fuse-box; it's the relay center of the car, located slightly above the right legcompartiment. But this one is only for your hazard-lights. The operation of your turn signal as well as the turn-signal-function of your breaklights is steered through relay #2. Thís one is located a little left of the steering column.
You remove the lower dashboard-clothing at the steering side. Also you remove the lighter coulored plastic moulding under-around the steering column (Pull it gently towards yourself; mounted with three clamps). Now about 4" left of the steering wheel you have a metal bracket at about knee height. This bracket is atached from the outside with two bolts (nut about 7mm) on the inside of a plastic cover. if you unscrew them, the whole metal bracket is released and to be removed. You find another electric device plus... the #2 turn signal flasher. If your normal turning signal fails but you still have your hazard lights, right now you arrested the villain. In my car both the turn signal relais were the same type.
Hope someone can use the above instruction, and forgives me my (eventual) poor english.

My blinkers don't work but my hazards lights do so I am assuming the bulbs are fine. What else could be wrong?
