The remote for the alarm and door opening of my 1995 Jeep grand cherokee loredo no longer works. Can I disconnect the alarm system so that I can open th door just with my key and start the car? If I open it now, the alarm sounds and the car will not start

Use your key to turn the rear hatch key cylinder before going into your jeep. That will turn off the factory security system.

I have a 1999 jeep grand cherokee. the alarm goes off whenever i open the door if the vehicle has been locked the alarm stops when i start the vehicle i only have a key, no remote any ideas on how to fix...

If ithe alarm is factory when they will have to reset the alarm module with a scanner. If the alarm if aftermarket go to the control module and see if it has a reset button. FOBs (remote) can reset alarm. You Jeep is always set for break-in mode. The FOB sets this when ever the FOB is used to lock the doors. May be bad alarm module - Sorry - Good luck

Programin the remote control

Open the drivers door, manually lock the door, push and hold the unlock button on your remote. After a couple seconds the lock system should respond with a lock and unlock sequence.

1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo Alarm system

There are switches on the door lock cylinders that are supposed to shut the alarm off when you use the key,but they go bad allot. you could try unlocking the passenger door first, since that one usually gets less use and is less likely to go bad. Otherwise you can disconnect the alarm module, it is located behind the glove box.
