Had to install a driver side non folding mirror, fairly simply to say the least. There's a cover on the interior of the door, near the window, remove the cover, remove the 3 screws, need i believe a 10mm socket. If a power window, unhook the circuit. Replace new mirror.

one thing to mention, on newer nissan models, you can no longer just remove the center unit, have to purchase a whole new core, found one on wholesale auto parts.com for 65 but it isn't painted. painted mirror will run $300+ from the dealership.

Passenger mirror not folding in

Grab the passenger mirror with both hands. Fold the mirror all the way forward, all the way back and then back to the home position. Sometimes the mirror will get off track if it has been bumped or moved out of place manually.

I need a new cover for the passenger side mirror 2009 nissan sentra...barely hit it and the cover shattered. Where can I get just the cover...really quickly?

You can call any Nissan dealership, they should have it but they will more than likely rape you with prices. Being that this is a new car, I'm going to say that this is most likely your only option. Be more careful next time.

How to replace a side mirror

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

What is the procedure for replacing the passenger door mirror on a 2008 Nissan Sentra?

I haven't done this on a Sentra, but I have done it on a Toyota and a Mazda and they were both the same.

I took the black plastic cover off the back of the mirror (this will be on the inside of the passenger door).

There whould be between 2 or 3 screws that you will unscrew. If it is a power mirror there will also be a little connector. Undo the connector and remove the old mirror.

Attach the new mirror and plug in connector if power mirror. Replace the screws and re attach the black cove to the inside of the door.

Hope that helps!
