You have worn out springs. Replace them or install air adjustable shocks.

Could be worn rear springs or some Cads have self leveling suspension and compressor or bags may be bad. I'd have a competent shop look at it.

After sitting in the garage the rear end drops low. After driving the vehicle again the rear end raises back up again.

Sounds like you have air ride and your system has developed a leak. I suggest getting it fixed soon. You will burn up your compressor and that can get expensive.

Why is the rear end of my 2001 toyota corolla sit so low

Probably your shocks or springs have failed or there's too much stuff in the trunk.

My 2003 oldsmobile bravada back end sits very low. Its either my strut or shocks. My question is, for this model, are the rear shocks coil or air springs?

The shocks do not set ride Hightower. The leaf springs set ride hieght in the rear. So ether the leaf springs are worn out or the shackles that hold the springs to the frame are broken (should be very obvious if they are). Most likely the rear leaf springs are the problem.

The rear air suspension isn't working. The rear end is sitting really low and I don't hear the sound of the pump like I usually do.

90% of all vehicle questions or issues that have
to be checked out, unless purely mechanical,
will require the use of a professional grade scan
tool. So for the most part very few people can
work on todays technology.
You will need a repair shop, I would do not
ever recommend a dealer for anything, some people do

My 1995 continental has severe ride problems bounces on every bump in the road front end sits low and rear seems normal

Sounds like the front "air ride suspension" is out.
That works off rubber bags built into the springs. If one or both has developed a leak/hile, it lets the front end (or rear or both) drop to ride on the bottom of the suspension.
Get the wallet out. It's expensive.
Sorry :-(

1989 lincoln con. back end sits low within minutes of parking-

the ride control bags are in the rear only. you probably have a leak in 1 of the air lines or the bags are bad.
