A blinking service engine light indicates an engine miss. Take your car into any/most parts house and they will use a code reader/scanner to see which code number is being set and then identify your engine cylinder that is not functioning properly. Once you identify the cylinder you can start to check different systems, spark plug, wires, injectors,ect. to find your problem and fix the miss.

Disconnect battery for 15 min.if not could be a small leak.

Small emission leak would indicate to me that the exhaust is leaking, maybe, throwing off the O2 sensor.

If it's an evaporative leak, then I would make sure the gas cap is on tight, and that the filler tube is connected with a vapor tight connection to the tank, and that the tank has no leaks in it.

code P1456 set when there's small leak in the fuel tank system.
Most known reason for P1456:
-Didn't tight fuel cap on until it click for more that 3 time after fueling up and drove the car too long with cap loose.
-or a bad gas cap.
I'll try tighting the gas cap.

if code come back, replace gas cap and clear check engine light again.

Check engine light might have came on because of loose gas tank cap, but it's a good idea to read the code and check if it's not something else, you can take your car to an Auto Zone and they read the code for free and tell you the cause also. But if you want to reset the check engine light, only way is to disconnect the battery terminals and let it set overnight, check engine light will be reset. Does it look like an engine? It means you have a problem with the engine. Those vans don't have a low coolant sensor.

I know if your gas cap is leaking the low fuel light will come on but I never heard of the gas guage showing empty unless you have a float problem. The float is in the tank.

change the themostat when you remove the old themostat you should see it stuck in the open postion . before i install the new one i fill the the block with coolant install the new stat run the mtr and heater core until hot iwould also replace the cap
