Please note that if your vehicle battery drain to less than five volts or battery disconnect without computer memory saver will set that code. first where your battery drain or disconected or the computer just throw that code , if battery where drain or disconected you will need to take your vehicle to a dealer and have them perform throttle relearn or a reputable shop with a compatible scan tool . if battery not aconcern check electronic throttle body for binding ,sticking foreign material ,carbon if any present cleaning or replace is recomend and relearn

code p 2176 refers to throttle actuator control(TAC) system--idle position not learned ===causes basic setting not carried out
code p 1795 is CAN bus--throttle body position
code p 1780 is park/neutral position (PNP) switch circuit engine torque signal circuit

Two trouble codes p0128 and p2176

Po128 is that the engine has not reach operating temperature in a calculated time frame. Most likely cause is bad thermostat or low on coolant. P2176 is the throttle position sensor has lost its learned value. Throttle bodies with electric motor controls need to know closed position to maintain proper idle speed test sensor for proper voltage signals to power control module . This code is only tested once per ignition cycle.

P2176=Throttle Actuator Control System - Idle Position Not Learned
Did you use all you old sensors,or is some of them from the new engine,I would swap out the IAC sensor or check for wires not hooked up.
If it can't relearn to idle the Idle air control might be different then your old one,but its not registering with the computer

NO , gas cap not the issue here . the P2176 refers to throttle actuator control system - idle position not learned .... the test for this is a mile long , i would try clearing the code , and see if it returns , or it will reset itself if it see's 3 drive cycles without a failure . cheers.
