My abs control lights up and a small motor noise starts once i make a right hand turn i've had the hub change and rotor, brakes caliber and chevy dealer check the wiring harness and stated that abs motor is good and all wire are good what can this problem be the chevy dealer doesn't know the problem.

2003 avalanche, abs and brake light are constant, drove to work and the motor on the abs unit stays on even with the key off .Had to disconnect fuse to the unit, so my battery wn't die. check lining, wash the brakes and still cant stop the motor from running. My next step would be to replace hubs with sensors, flush the system. Or trade it for a non american car.

Check fluid levels and if that is not the culprit then check sensors by unplugging them and using a voltmeter attach the leads to the wire ends and rotate tires and if voltage is supplied than the sensor is ok

I don't believe ABS was an option in 1988, is your vehicle an 1998? If so I've replaced many wiring harneses from the hub to the frame, even further on some to solve the problem. I work at a GM dealership so we have the connectors and make them myself.

2005 Chevy impala brake pedal pulsation with brand new rotors installed

Is your ABS working properly? Under heavy braking the ABS should engage and 'pulse' the brakes on/off. It is normal to feel the brake petal flutter or pulse under your foot.

Under light braking there should be no pulsing as the ABS does not engage and you have changed the rotors and pads.

2008 chevy equinox. Removed all bolts, removed the caliber but rotor will not come off. Spaid hub and still wont come off. Is the E brake holding it or should I just bang harder ? Any trick/help would be...

Bang harder. They tend to rust up where it meets the hub and seize up. Eventually it will come loose. If it's the rear rotor once you can wiggle it you will be able to work it around the brake shoes if needed. Most of the time ounce you get it broken free from the hub they slide right off.

1998 chevy express van 3500 front brakes and rear are new, front calipers are new but ABS light on dash is on, the front brakes smoke after a little while of driving. Thanks Joe

I'd first make sure the new pads are the correct size. Doesn't happen very often but maybe the parts person gave you the wrong size pads ( for the smoking problem). As for the ABS light, most newer cars will throw out codes if you wait too long to change them out, I would contact a chevy dealer or search online about reseting the code (light).

Traction control and anti-locks(ABS) lights come on.

Traction control and anti-locks(ABS) lights come on there is sensors that are pluged in behind the rotors check and see if they are disconected or loose sometimes when you change your brake pads they might come loose and not making contact.

Gear grinding noise when brakes are applied

I'm guessing you DID resurface the rotors or replaced them? On the bearing make sure it is not overtightened. With the car lifted can you turn by hand and listen?
Not positive about brakes I've always understood they bleed like regular brakes but I would consult a repair manual or dealer (just ask service advisor) Good luck!

2002 Chevy Impala Traction control /ABS problem

i have a 2002 chevrolet impala and the same thing happened to me. abs light came on as well as my traction controll light. when i would step on the gas or brakes my car sounded like the brake pads were skiping against my rotors. i had my hub sensor replaced 5 times. the machanic kept telling me it was the part that need to be replaced.they hooked it up to have a dianostic done and the computer keep telling them to replace the hub sensor. so finally we brought my car to an electric auto shop. they found it was a loose wire that was turning my brakes on and off.(haywire)they fix my car in 30mins.
