I've a AUdi q7 3.0 TDI and the engine light has on on the dash. Then it goes on and comes on again. The manaul state its the emissions. Would you know what's causing this problem?

Hi, I had the same fault come up.Its the problem with one of the engine intake manifold getting stuck or NOT opening properly.Usually AA or RAC can fix it,but u need to take it into Audi dealer when u gt a chance.Hi,

to get trouble codes you must hook up a test tool called a scanner, this interfaces with the computer in the car and pulls the codes from the computers memory.
this means that one or more of over 200 electronic engine control malfunctions has ocurred, u must get the system tested for the trouble code(s) that was stored with the light coming on.
U can still drive the car, the light means that a malfuntion has occured in the engine/emission system electronic controls, have the system tested for the trouble code that was stored with the light.
