Overdrive problem While driving the overdrive light will sometimes start flashing. Pushing the buttom has no effect on the problem. A couple of times it actually kicked the overdrive off while driving down the road. What specific would cause this problem, and is there a code for that particular problem? Thanks, Arnold Marsee

Transmission (torque converter) went again 4 years later (2014). A complete rebuilt. The OD flashing indicates the transmission is overheating. If you continue driving, and the transmission overheats a lot, the computer will disconnect it (put it in neutral).
