When i turn the key in the igniton to start the car it will not start with out giving it gas. is this a problem or just a gt thing. i just baught the car 2 weeks ago
Where is the throttle body located on a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix.
My CD player last week would not eject the Cd and then it keeped spinning inside and nothing would come out. What happend to it and how can I find a cheap way to fix it. Its a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix 6cld
I had the same problem and it drove me nuts for months. You have to CLEAN the throttle body out. It collect dust/carbon and it gets plugged up. Its the part with the metal butterfly that opens and closes when you step on the gas. The reason why you car starts when you give it gas is because the pedal forces this butterfly flap to open. You can clean this by yourself they sell spray can cleaners at most part stores.

I have had this same problem! Thank you for telling me, I was going to have the fuel filter or pump changed b/c I wasn't sure what would make it do that.
