SOURCE: cylinder 1 misfire
If it smooths out at wide open throttle it's probably not the injector but rather a substantial vacuum leak at that cylinder.
SOURCE: misfire on cylinder no.1 fault code P0301
there are a few things that set this code.a bad spark plug,a bad spark plug wire,a bad ignition coil,a bad fuel injector(either not working or very dirty),a compression problem(either poor valve sealing or piston assembly problem),a vacum leak at cylinder #1,the rule of thumb is you need 3 things for a cylinder fire,spark-fuel-air.
Testimonial: "excellent thanks, have changed the plugs and didnt want to go for a coil pack untill i had a second opinion"

Code P0301 is a generic OBD Code for Misfire. It also indicates you have a misfire in the #1 Cylinder. I would start by checking the plug wire to make sure its clean and on all the way (at the coil as well). Then if that doesnt help I would pull the plug out and check the condition of the spark plug. hopefully this will give you some direction. Thanks for Using FixYa!
