Fuel Problem 2000 Chrysler Town and Country: Fuel Gague reads 3/4 yet runs out of gas and dies. Upon refueling, (1 gallon) it will start and run fine though quits again at 3/4 tank. This problem began happening at 1/4 tank last year slowly increasing the level at which it occurs.

You have a float that reads the level of the gas. The sensor probably needs replaced.

The fuel level is correct. After adding fuel until the gass pump shuts its self off (and you can see the gass in the line) the gague in the cab reads full. What I'm saying is that the engine stops running when the tank gets down to 3/4 full. If you add a gallon of gass to the 3/4 full tank it will run. If you drive that gallon out, the van will die while still having 3/4 full tank of gass. It use to shut off when the tank got down to 1/4 tank. now it dies when it gets down to 3/4 tank.

2005 Dodge Town & Country will start but will not stay running when it's cold. After car warms up or in high temperatures it runs perfect

Clean the Throttle Body and MAF with Cleaner. That causes rough idle.

Also drop a bottle of Fuel System Restorer into half a tank of gas.

More ideas here, but start with the above.

Town and Country Van running out of gas and guage says half a tank what could be the problem?

If your fuel gauge is showing you in accurate readings this is normal to all vehicles that are not used to fill-up gas full regularly but sometimes the cause of the inacuracy is due to faulty float valve in the gas tank you need to replace it

Why won't my car stay running after it ran out of gas

Most newer cars are very sensitive to being ran low on gas. The fuel pump is in the tank and relies on fuel to cool it down. Your fuel pump is now probably not pumping the required pressure for the fuel injection system to work properly (or at all).

No start 2002 chrysler town and country

Quick check is to push in valve stem at schrader valve on injector rail, but better to measure pressure there with a fuel pressure gage. If pressure islow, it can be the pump or the regulator. You check the regulator by plugging the fuel return line, which prevents the regulator from reducing the pressure from the pump.

97 chrysler town & country dies while driving will only start when in park, runs fine but dies without warning and will restart in park???

Well first it should only restart in park or nuetral, any check engine light on? May be fuel pump if not. Listen for pump running in fuel tank. Should run at key on for a few seconds. If check engine light on, it should be scanned for codes, possible crank sensor
