Hi! i'm Patrick from Mauritius island and i got some problems with my audi A4 year 1997 model B5 1.8 fuel (No idle when start at cold, the air cond start after more that 2000tpm, the central locking is not working i have to open manually! Please can you help me thanks!!

Fuel filter may be clogged, replace. Fuel pump may be failing, replace. Never let your vehicle "run out of gas" as all the residue collected in the bottom of the gas tank, will migrate through the system and create problems.

Audi A4 1997 has a cold a start problem, this only happens when its cold or on a rainy day,sometimes it will take the whole day to start,any suggestions pls
hook up a scanner to see if any data is not correct, You will need to do this with key on engine cold. A fuel pressure gauge could help also. If you have low fuel pressure you wont have enough pressure for a cold start when the most fuel is needed. Clogged injectors could also cause a cold start issue

1997 audi A4 heater blowing cold air
You probably have a leak in your oil cooler. This is causing the oil to bleed into your cooling system causing the "thick brown liquid". This in turn will also cause your engine to over-heat since the cooling system is contaminated.

Hi i have an audi a4 1.8 1996. When i start the car up from cold it stalls but when it is warm its seems to be fine. Does this mean theres a problem with the idle valve.
It could actuall be a couple things. A relay could be frozen, fuel lines have moisture and need to get a bottle of isopropyl, Could be the cold start sensor on an injector, could be loose vacuum hose.
