This fuse box diagram show a power outlet fuse in the inside fuse box. It also shows two fuses and a relay in the engine compartment fuse box. https://www.autogenius.info/hyundai-sonata-hybrid-2017-fuse-box-diagram/
The relay says for 3 power outlets
One of the fuses says for cigarette lighter
If all the fuses are good the outlet which does not work may have shorted and blew the fuse. Check outlet to see if it has power to it.
In the 2000 Sonata, the fuse panel will be in the drivers area under the console all the way to the left, mid way. Look for cigarette lighter or lghtr or something like that. If you can't find it, look under the hood in the engine compartment. There are fuses and relays there.
Two very likely problems. Most likely, cigarette lighter element is "dead". Try one out of another car, since almost every one is the same. Second option is the ground wire, which would complete the circuit to make the lighter work. You need to ground the socket shell, and see if that fixes the problem.
they are normally the same on chevy, chrysler and ford... I suspect it should be the same. you might also have spare fuses inside the top panel of the lid.... Kindly please rank
No, it won't be covered by warranty if you installed something yourself. Check your owner manual for where the fuse shud be, its probably blown or missing
