My 2004 envoy starts but there is no electrical. the windows radio tail lights reverse lights dashboard lights ac heat dondoesnt work. but the odometer still works so there is electric and all the fuses are fine. we replaced the battery and this all happened. also the car wont shift out of park every morning.

It is the 125 amp fuse that is under the hood. Cost was about $7 from Napa. When looking at the fuse box under the hood it is the large wafer fuse that has the positive and negative connections from the battery to it.

Sounds like a bad ignition switch. There are 3 main ignition circuits coming from the switch, and one will control the engine and starting. One circuit is probably dead thru the switch, causing all the accessories to not function. I would tr that first.

    Check the "link fuse" inside the fusebox under the hood mine had 125 stamped on it. 6 dollars and 2 min to change

The fuses for the main devices are housed in a control unit under the dashboard, to the left of the steering column. To gain access to them, remove the panel (A) releasing the tabs (B) in the direction of the arrow below and remove the screw (C).

Parking lamps and tail lamps blows fuse, dash lights don't work

First thing I would check is all frame grounds... like the negative battery cable and the grounding strap on the passenger side motor Mount to the wheel hub. In any electrical system, lights draw more current than anything (except the battery) when you turn them on... Check the grounds!

These truck are known to have ignition switches go bad and result in strange electrical problems. I would suggest replacing the ignition switch (not the part that the key goes into).

2004 GMC Envoy SLT possible electrical problems

it sounds like you need a regulator for your alternater it is reversing polarity there for draining your battery and reseting the clock. it is located on the back of your alternator.hope this could help.
