Where is the Manifold Intake Temperature sensor located in a 1999 Plymouth Grand Voyager SE? I did a Self Check and Diagnosis and DTC error codes showed up as 23, 55. 55 I am assuming is end of code list. So 23 shows up as Manifold Air Temperature Sensor. I need to find it to replace it and I can not locate it...

4.7 quote:
The Intake Manifold Air Temperature IAT sensor is located on the left side of the intake manifold.
For a temperature of 68F (20C) the resistance is approximately 6000 ohms. For a temperature of 104F (40C) the resistance is approximately 3300 ohms. (this forum hates degrees symbols , dang)

its just a Thermistor. NTC

on some cars, its in the MAF
others its screwed in to the air cleaner box.
others, (yours) its in the air plenum. (MAP base EFI)

probably has a bad input or output speed sensor gone bad.they have a known 100% fail rate.check codes first if there is a bunch of them and one is input or output speed sensor then thats whats wrong, replace both they are only 20 bucks each and just screw in

Air bag sensor location 1999 plymouth grand voyger se

Should be part of the ACM, (airbag control module) located behind center console, near firewall, but PLEASE BE AWARE, "VERY DANGEROUS " item to fiddle with as airbag(s) could deploy if proper steps are not taken by knowledgeable technician, prior to attempting any repairs to it.
