2001 pathfinder shifter is stuck in park. When I step on the brake it won't release the shifter. Would the problem be the shift lock relay?

2005 pathfinder will not shift into overdrive

Pull the valve body & clean it

After that, you will have to change the
proper solenoid & as far as I know, they
can not be had individually yet,should be
soon, as that vehicle has been made for 10 or 11 years

The only difference in your 05 & my 2014 frontier, is the
tcm module on mine, is up in the trans fluid & yours is outside

Google the question & see what turns up

Lots on the internet & You Tube Video,I bet the answer
is in many places on how to solve that

Where is the P1757 FRONT BRAKE SOLENOID VALVE located in nissan pathfinder 2005 transmission?

Yes it has something to do with the transmission and the picture and legend of parts inside your transmission will help aid you in that valve's location. I would check the connector at the transmission (outside) for any moisture or debris that may have gotten inside that connector and cause a poor connection. Hope this helps...

2005 Nissan Pathfinder shifts into 2nd gear while driving, also will not go into reverse. If I disconnect the battery, it temporarly fixes the problem.

when you disconnect the battery you are earsing the code. sounds like pressure control shift solenoid in the transmission is stuck open or closed .it will need to be replaced

Pathfinder will not shift out of park without

Your shift-loc solenoid is not functioning. It could be the solenoid itself, or it could be the brake switch needs adjusting or replacing.

There are several...all locared in valve body of transmission.not serviced separately.must get whole valve body to replace.or are you referring to the shift lock solenoid?this is located in center console on shifter assembly.
