Question about 1994 Mitsubishi Mighty Max
May have the valve settings too tight making for low compression and no start. Cranks fast, good fire, good fuel, still no start. Check compression with a gage. Could also have timing on cam incorrect so valves are overlapping too long. Check, check, and recheck all your work. Best thing for a mechanic to do. Keeps away the frustration.

Your choke adjustment or cold start are not working to bring it to high idle cold start.

How many miles?
Could be a bent pushrod.
Could be just a high mile engine that needs overhauld.
Could be you engine needs higher octane fuel...as engines get older and worn they will benifit from higher octane.

Testimonial: "It's the fuel pump indeed. Also the gas tank found to be very dirty. The fuel pump was replaced, fuel system cleaned, now the car runs perfectly."
