I have a 2005 ford focus wagen with 68,000 which is maintained well but i just noticed front end creaking while driving & when i get out of the car. what is wrong?

Mr.Mangus have you checked at all your front suspension struts,shock absorbers,or lower wishbones with bushing and ball joints? I had recently a diesel ford focus 2007 with similar case and both front wishbones were replaced due to ball joints and bushes and then sent for steering alignment. Vehicle drive excellent. Please check.

if the creek is most common while turning the wheel either in park or during a trip, The ball joints may be to blame, the only other "creek" may be a faulty shock or broken spring, however with either of those your car would most likely hop after bumps or lean to the side.

My 2006 ZXW SES has worn front end linkages @ 48000 km, being replaced today, not covered by warranty according to Ford dealer

where is the noise coming from the top of steering column ,or elsewhere .Please be more specific i know my grandmother could read tea leaves because she was of irish descent,BUT??iam only a common cockney

THE NOISE IS CAUSED BY THE CALIPER PINS BEING WORN OR THE STABLIZER RUBBER BUSHING BEING WORN.

Could be the CV joint needs greasing up, or replacing, check for splits in the rubber gater around the drive shaft(looks like a bellow). Replace if necessary.

have the brakes looked at at your nearesr honda dealer or reputable repair shop. sounds like ur brake pad sensor is contacting ur rotor...
