SOURCE: Doesn t the New Beetle need tranny oil change

All transmissions have to have the oil changed at some point. Not as often as the engine oil gets changed as its a closed system that doesn't get much in the way of impurities introduced like you do with the piston rings leaking combustion gases and carbon into the engine casing but they all have recommended replacement schedules.
As your gearbox oil gets pummeled by the gears in the gearbox the molecules are gradually broken down and over a period of wear it becomes less effective at lubricating your gears so it has a change recommendation but its probably every 40000 miles or so - you need to check the owners manual for the correct change out cycle.

SOURCE: something draining battery on 2000 VW Beetle Turbo

If you are sure you have a key off battery drain, what you need to do is connect an ammeter to the negative side of the battery(disconnect the negative battery cable and connect one side of the ammeter to the battery terminal and one side to the and one side to the battery cable) note the reading and start pulling fuses one at a time making sure to put them back in their proper slot when the reading an the ammeter goes down to normal the short will be on the circuit of the fuse you have pulled if any part of these instructions is too difficult have the problem checked by a dealer

I accidently put super unleaded gas.on my VW beetle 2002

That is not a problem it is actually recommended that you use premium 93-94 Octane fuel, if you put turbo blue (115) in it that would be a problem but 93-94 octane is the VW recommended fuel type.

Vw beetle 2002 2.0 115hp

Had the same issue. I replaced one of the fuses in the little case on top of the engine. Check the fuse diagram in the manual, locate the one for a/c. The fuses are color coded by amps, just buy the right color and push into place. (I did this after verifying my coolant levels were normal)
