While taillight lenses for your Mighty Max can be found readily and inexpensively on eBay, entire assemblies or housings would have to come from salvage yards or individuals scrapping out their vehicle. Check out auto salvage yards, eBay, Craigslist, etc. It took me 3 months to find a driver-side door for my 1990 Mighty Max. I found it a "Pick Your Part" salvage yard. It was from a Dodge Ram 50 of approximate vintage. It was missing the glass window, but my window was useable. Fortunately, Dodge Ram 50 and Mitsubishi Mighty Max parts are pretty much the same truck.
Get the battery checked out, even if it is new. I found out this on mine after I replaced the alternator and the battery was fully charged. After it had run a while it would not start back up, Got it tested at an interstate battery shop and they said it was borderline on the load machine, but the digital $$$ machine said replace battery. Good thing it was still under warranty , free replacement. Been driving ever since then no problems.
