"2009 Toyota Tacoma trucks are fitted with an enhanced standard audio system for 2009, with an AM/FM radio, auxiliary audio input, an MP3-capable CD player and XM Satellite radio capability."

I have an '08 Tacoma, and I bought an aftermarket iPod interface with RCA jacks so I could hook up my iPod and Sirius Satellite Radio.

How to instal a amp and sub on a OE stock radio

If you want to upgrade your sound system in your car by adding a sub woofer or speakers powered by an auxiliary amplifier without having to get a new head unit then hopefully this should help you :)

I decided to keep my standard head unit because it looks well in the car, is less likely to attract thieves than a shiny after-market unit and it is a factory upgraded unit anyway and i find it gives pretty good audio quality, it works with the steering wheel controls and has bluetooth and aux-in, so an after-market unit wouldn't offer a substantial upgrade.

Factory head units rarely have RCA or "Low line" outputs which your amplifier will need for it's input signal.
A "Low line converter" is a device which will piggy back your speaker outputs from your head unit and convert them to Low Line RCA outputs for your amplifier

The converter i bought also gives you a "remote wire" output which tells your Amp when the car is on so it doesn't drain your battery, if you get a converter without this option you can just join the remote wire to the Acc circuit of your car, or the 12V circuit with a switch (you will have to remember to turn it off though or your amp will drain your battery)

The methods i used will require an understanding of car/car stereo electrics so just be careful so as not to damage your car or yourself :)

Can u hook up a audio amplifier to a stock deck in a 2005 dodge Durango limited edition 5.7 ltr engine if u can? were do I go for a diagram? Or a manual or video

You need to look at the back of the stock deck to see if it has pre-amp outputs. That would be RCA jacks. If it does, then the RCA jacks would plug into the power amp Input using RCA cables.

I have an 04 Nissan Altima I want to keep the stock radio but want to hook up an amp to it. There are no RCA hook up on the back of the radio. Please help, how can I do this?

You need a high/low converter. The converter will connect to two speaker wires and, covert that high signal to a low signal to run the amp. The converter will have RCA outputs for the amp. You will also need an amp turn on wire. The accessory wire (switched 12 volts) from the radio will serve this purpose.
Since you are already behind the radio; the accessory wire you need is purple in color. Left front speaker (+) is blue/white,(-) is blue/red. Right front speaker (+) is white/black, (-) is blue/black. You can use the signal from these two wires for the amp.

Wiring diagram/ amp hook up

without preamp outputs, you need to get a speaker line matching transformer.it takes the speaker signal, reduces the level, puts it thru a low pass filter if it is for a subwoofer. it basically is a tranformer resistor network that drives a set of rca plugs that will go into the amp. the only tricky part is noise, speaker lines have a poor signal noise ratio if you amplify them.

Car audio

I would leave this one up to a pro. Luxury cars have changed their audio format over the past decade. Instead of the radio and preamp being in one unit in the dash they are using the on-board computer as the radio and amp. Usually what you think is the radio in your dash (now-a-days) is really a command screen connected to the cars computer.
