My son has a 93 Honda Prelude with 150,000 miles that intermittently would not start and now will completely not start. I believe it is an SI model. Here is what he knows.....Normally the dash lights come on when trying to start but now they do not. No signal lights but headlights work. The starter runs (works). Said he is no getting fire off the coil. No power to windows, wipers or sunroof. Previously (twice) he messed with the trans. shifter and it would start. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Do you have fuel pressure? Is 12 volts available to the injectors with the key turned to run (use a 12 volt test light to check this). Have you checked the combination relay located behind the glove box on most Honda models??
if you can charge the battery and drive it for a while then sounds like the altenator has failed and is not re-charging the battery, good way to test is to charge the battery, start the car and turn the light on, if everything is dimm or the motor dies there is little to no charge voltage, and will require altenator work
As it turned out it was the ignition switch. Thanks for your response.
