The only parts on the engine that need to be lined up to timing marks are the camshafts and the crankshaft. All other pulleys, (or cogs), are just simple pumps so do not need to be timed to the engine. The injectors simply need a fuel supply and are fired by the electronics.

Hi everyone, I'm looking for diagram or manual photos of GWM 2008 Model with a GW2.8TC-2 diesel engine, for front timing cover marks of camshaft and diesel pump. I bought the vehicle with disassembled engine and the injector wires were tempered with. So I also need to know how to identify which one to plug on cylinder number 1 till 4th cylinder.
